What Happened to The UNITED States of America?

Once upon a time in a land long forgotten……

People once came to America to become part of America. They came to chase dreams they had no chance of obtaining in their home country. It made no difference if the dream was a good one or one with less stellar motivations, it was still  their dream.

Emigrate to AMERICA. Become an AMERICAN. That was the dream that fueled the chase.

Today people come to America for the same reasons but they also come for another. They wish to transplant their culture to “safer” shores. They do not wish to become “Americans”. They wish to be “xxxxx” living in someplace other than their home country. They do not wish to assimilate.

And America is the easiest desireable country to get into and disappear.  Chances are  if you can get here, you can stay here. If you can avoid immediate detection chances are the “system” will loose you.

Or simply ignore the laws that supposedly govern the land.

Perhaps it is past time to make all judges answerable for their actions. Actions that are supposed to be governed by LAW, but are obviously clouded by personal beliefs.

The saying was; “if you don’t like the law, change it”. Now, as these judges, sanctuary cities, and oh yes… Hillary Clinton so clearly demonstrate, it has changed to; “if you don’t like the law, ignore it”.

Racial Profiling

With all of the recent uproar over various State attempts to curb the illegal immigration that the Fed seems unable or unwilling to control, the term “Racial Profiling” keeps coming up.

What is racial profiling? In layman’s terms it might be described as assuming that a person fits a set of criteria just because they are of a certain race. however, as with most thing in life, it ain’t quite that cut and dried.

Lets put one thing to bed right now. Being in this country with out following the laws and procedures laid down is a CRIME. Forget all of the BS arguments about just trying to find a better life. Do it the right way or be a criminal.

For the next few minutes you are a officer of the law. A crime has been committed. You receive the cal that the suspect is a white male, 6’4″ tall, approximately 210# with long curly blonde hair. In the course of your duties do you pay closer attention to white males,  black, or hispanic males? No brainer.

Now lets say a crime has been committed and the description is of a Hispanic male, 5’2″ to 6’2″ between the age of 12 and 102. So here is the problem. That fits virtually every Hispanic male alive on the face of the earth. How do you look for an “individual” amongst a race, based only on racial criteria? And lets put one thing to bed right now. Being in this country with out following the laws and procedures laid down is a CRIME. Forget all of the BS arguments about just trying to find a better life. Do it the right way or be a criminal.

That is the problem the  legislature faces. Not all illegal immigrants are Hispanic. But statistically most are. How do you NOT profile the person who has committed a crime based on their race?

The laws are being written with every attempt to make sure that someone  is  questioned regarding their immigration status ONLY if they are being questioned in conjunction with another possible violation. Will  officers abuse the letter of the law? The potential exists, as does abuse of power by an officer exist in any other situation. The greatest majority of Officers will I suspect, treat the new laws as guidelines that will allow them to do their jobs properly.

Or, as Ralph would say,”You don’t try and hunt elk in a herd of Hyenas, Dummy!”

Immigration reform

White House Moves Ahead With Deportation Rules Congress Rejected (Fox News 18 Aug, 2011)

Once again Obama and the current administration show their arrogance and disregard for the will of the people. Our gov’t was not set up in such a way that the President can capriciously circumvent or ignore the wishes of the Congress. This Administration needs to be reminded, forcefully, of their place in the order.

Immigration solved

1) Enforce the freakin’ laws that are already on the books

2) If you are found here illegally you have a tracking pellet (like a dog) implanted and you are deported. If you have an “anchor baby” that goes with you.

3) If you are found here again without proper paperwork, you are shot.

4) All illegals in our prisons are given a choice of deportation or being shot.

4) If an employer is found with illegal immigrant workers it is a $100k fine, per worker. Period, no appeal

End of illegal immigration problem

Illegal Immigration

Why do people of a certain ethnic background who are legal citizens of the US, either through birth or naturalization get so upset when the topic of illegal immigration comes up?

When enforcement  or reform of current laws is attempted it is most often those who are most hurt by the illegal immigrant that yell the loudest!

Statistically, illegal immigrants take the lowest paying jobs, jobs that minorities often have to compete for.
