Watters World

I imagine a lot of you watch or have watched Bill O’Reilly on Fox. He often has a segment with Jesse Watters, who goes to various locales in the country and asks the average person simple questions. Like, is the sky blue?

Recently he was in New York city and asked people if they approved of Obamacare. What impressed me most about the answers is the sheer stupidity  of the average New Yorker and the almost complete inability to form an articulate sentence.  The look of utter incomprehension on most of the people approached  is a sad commentary on the myth of the informed voter.

Perhaps if we made cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Detroit “States” we could let the other more intelligent people of the respective states, have a chance at actually having their voices heard during an election.
